Classic Saddlebags

An instant classic, modeled after saddlebags of days past. Hand crafted in California from hearty American vegetable tanned leather using time honored traditional methods. Made to last a lifetime & age beautifully!

Large & sturdy with magnet & tab closure, a big inside pocket, wide adjustable crossbody strap with American made solid brass hardware. Completely hand stitched using the traditional saddle stitch with Ritza waxed braided poly thread. All edges are beveled, burnished & sealed with bees wax.

Horween Dublin is a vegetable tanned leather with incredible marbling & character: it lightens where it bends as the waxes and dyes move within the leather. Use & time in the sun will darken & patina this supple leather, writing it’s own story as the years go by!

Natural vegetable tanned leather is a lightweight, firm leather, not for the faint of heart. It will darken & patina with use, from the sun & oils on your skin. I have polished this leather with Sapphir cream for light protection. I recommend conditioning this leather periodically to keep it nourished & supple. Sapphir will darken it a little, Bickmore bick4 will not darken it unlike most conditioner/oils.
